Delaware Park Filly Might Try Run For The Roses

Delaware Park's Rick Porter has Eight Belles 'n art going for him this year (link):
Eight Belles, who will run in either the Derby or in Friday's Kentucky Oaks for fillies, is named in homage to the Maine home of artist N.C. Wyeth, Andrew's late father, the preeminent illustrator of his generation.Eight Bells itself was named for a famous Winslow Homer painting, and N.C. Wyeth also named one of his own paintings Eight Bells, family members said.
If Eight Belles races in the Derby, she will try to become just the fourth filly to win the Run for the Roses, joining Regret in 1915, Genuine Risk in 1980, and Winning Colors in 1988. No filly has even started in the race since 1999.
